EQ 3 ProG – High End Graphical EQ

There are significant differences in the quality of the programmed algorhitms which are used in specific software-EQs! You can take some mathematics and a little bit of visual basic and you can build up a software-EQ! But...

Let´s be honest: It will sound amazingly bad if you don´t have a lot of experience in high-end studio-production at hand. A linear EQ sounds very hard to the human ear, while another one which was designed by using a dynamic formula, based on human perception and psycho-acoustic studies just sounds great. Just like our EQpro-G3...

Well. The EQpro-G3 is a high-definition graphical EQ with fully parametrical access. It was designed for a wide range of uses. The ”musicality” and sound-quality of this Software-EQ was already certified by a lot of professional users. It has a warm and ”analogue” feeling and does not harm your material too easily. Although the character of this EQ is quite decent we have given it an extremely wide adjustable range for adjustment.

The EQpro-G3 is fully parametric and offers you 3 bands at a time. 3 frequency-bands should be enough for most the situations, but if you need more adjustment simply cascade 2 or 3 EQs with the help of the FFX16. Because of the low CPU-usage of the EQpro-G3 this will be definitely no problem for your computer.

Display
To improve the graphical overview of the EQpro-G3 we have given you a big display where you can adjust the gain/frequency range for yourself (+/- 6 dB up to +/- 60dB). This is quite useful when trying to see very decent adjustments. You can switch the graphical view from ”logarhitmic” to ”logarhitmic scale with octaves”.

Range of adjustment:
All the bands of the EQpro-G3 have 3 Bands which all of them can be adjusted within the following ranges:

HighPass Filter

12 db/oct

20 Hz

18 kHz

LowPass Filter

12 db/oct

20 Hz

High shelving EQ

By the way: The adjustable frequency range of the EQpro-G3 is dependent from the sample rate. With a sample rate of 44.1 you can twist frequencies between 20 Hz and 20 kHz while a resolution of 96kHz allows adjustments up to 40 kHz.
