The new PKI 7-kHz ISDN Software Codec is a PC based solution using the G.722 coding algorithm for high quality speech. The software permits real time audio transmission with 3.1-kHz telephone quality and superior 7-kHz speech quality.
Functions such as storage of audio files, transmission of stored and preprocessed audio data and a telephone directory offers the reporter an easy solution for live reporting.
Via
an easy software control, the reporter can first have a discussion with
the studio and then transmit available audio files or make liver reports.
The encoding delay is minimized and guarantees optimum live reporting. The software is interworkable with almost al audio codecs available in the market and supports ITU-T J.52 audio transmission standard.
For the operation of the software a PC with an ISDN and a sound card is required.
